When the Catchy Little Art project started i quickly put a mandala design in my mandala online shop. Zazzle has an affilliate program so i started to advertise her's store as agreed and sometimes mine too. She had 2 sales and i had none. Its kinda fair, because i have only one design and she has like twohundert. Next step she took was the Catchy Little Art store on redbubble. I also copied my Mandala design there too. She had one sale in each store in the first month. I think its great - What do you think?

You should attract people. How to be inturesting. You should adveritse your business, cooperate with people/customers/friends on social networks, on the right places, not spam and be annoying. People who want to participate will do it for themselves. But you must suggest them and let them know you exist.

Search engines

If you search for the title of your page or post you will see, if you can be found. Simple search can tell you a lot. My project-page title is Startlink - website collection  and when i put it in google i am 3rd 4th and 5th.

You should make a profile for yourself, then you can make a page or a community.

You can make other profiles (i didn't - my loss) on Yahoo&Bing, Msn, .....and you should submit your website if it is new. you can easilly check if it if indexed when you put your url in search engine. Example:

Social network

Promoting yourself and your page on social netwoth is a must have. You get organic and targetted traffic, because people will click only if inturested.

My Fb profile is https://www.facebook.com/tony.m.devito and i post sometimes. If you want great advertising you should do a page like my college https://www.facebook.com/CatchyLittleArt. Twitter is a must and many more exist. If you have many friends they will like you, share... tell others about you and make advertising for you.

Sending huge number of mails to promote and advertise.

I signed in many programs to see what is going on. This post is filled with banners and may look disturbing, sorry about that.

All these programs seem like spam programs, but they have a mailing list of people who are inturested and you send your mail ad to the people who are interested in. You also choose the topics about what mailads you want to recive. I willnot use those programs, but i write about them, because i got so many mails when i signed up, i gust have to. If you are serious in sending mail adverising business you should find websites like 10kchallenge.com, with links to massmail pages and a program that offers information, teachinng and instructions.

You should make a reasearch about all the popular things. Example If you are an affiliate and you are selling products you will earn more if you promote popular products than less known. You should not write lies about the product, you just have to describe it your way. Funny, critical, just informative....you can do all those reviews, but can you write with energy, so the writing will attract the people that visit. Use pictures and colours.

Make the content for the traffic you are getting

You can do a reasearch statistics for your page. Check thir gender, age, country..... You even can put voting on your site and then you will see what content will be suitable. You can search statistics for the time the people stay on each page and you will see what pages are inturesting to your audience.

Start making content for people

All the search engines have algoritms to index your page. Spiders - bots will read it and index it later. They are all trying to make the bots and  indexing algoritms as human as can be achieved. So dont forget to think of your audience first. If you are on first page on google you will get lots of traffic and you will be checked by many people and if you are not worthy you will get bad reviews. So not just traffic is important, the quality is too. You better have less targeted traffic, than more useless traffic. Targeted traffic will bring you comments, likes and probbably sales - so conversion Sales/Visits can be high. Good sites and products advertise themselves. I think that's what you want. A?

Stop spaming

We all clicked on a page that was first on google and got spam. What a waste of time. He got loads of traffic, but maybe 1/1000000 was naive enough to buy that scam. And probbably google banned that site the next week. Try to be good, unique and honest. And don't forget, the patience is a good virtue.
